Each game is 2-22 minute halves. 2 Minute Halftime, 4 Minutes in between games.
All teams should be warmed up and ready to take the field for the next game. There will be one central horn used for all timing. Field 4 may be used to warm up when not being used.
1 horn will signify the beginning of the game. 1 horn will signify the beginning and end of halftime. 1 horn will signify the end of the game.
NO timeouts. Overtime will be 3v3 braveheart sudden victory.
All teams will play 3 games. This is a jamboree type format and there will be no playoffs unless the division is full. If a 4th game is played, seeding within division goes in order to: record, head-to-head, fewest goals allowed, goal differential, coin flip. Seeds 1-4 in each division will match up for the 4th game.
No counts are used for 6th, & 7th Grade Divisions (except goalie 4 second crease count),
Counts are used for JV, & Varsity. NO substitution horns at all – All subbing is done on the fly through the box.
All penalties will be kept by the officials on the field. All penalties are 1 minute in length, running time. All penalties begin on the official restart.
Scoring: Officials will keep score. Officials will record the scores and coaches will sign off on them at the conclusion of the game
All official scores will be kept at tournament headquarters.
UNSPORTSMANLIKE BEHAVIOR IS NOT TOLERATED BY ANY PLAYER OR SPECTATOR. IF THERE ARE ANY EJECTIONS FROM A GAME, THAT PLAYER IS NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT!
INCLEMENT WEATHER RULES
There are no rain dates for this event. Assume that games will be played on their scheduled dates.
If inclement weather causes a game stoppage (i.e. lightning), the following rules apply:
- Play will stop until the head official deems conditions are safe to resume play
- If play stops in the first half of a game, the game resumes with the beginning of the 2nd half.
- If play stops in the 2nd half of a game, the game ends immediately. The team in the lead gets the win. If tied, the game will be declared a tie.
- If the delay is substantial, Tournament HQ may decide to shorten some games until the event is back on-time.
